Another trip under our belts. We left for FL on St. Patrick's Day and it was another full flight. We drove down to RI where Pop Pop drove us to the airport. Of course we were running a few minutes late because Dylan did not want to cooperate and sleep in the morning so we couldn't pack. Yes we waited until the last minute to pack! But we had built in some extra time so we still made it in plenty of time. It was another full flight and Dylan was yet again fantastic. He fell asleep as we were taxiing on the runway and woke up the minute we landed. Fine by us!
We had such a good time in FL and Dylan loved getting to meet all of his family! First we went to go visit Tasha's Uncle Eddie, Auntie Holly, and Anna, Daniel, John Paul and Peter as soon as we landed. Then on Fri, Dylan got to meet his Great Grampy and Great Grammy Wade (Josh's mom's parents)! They LOVED getting to see him. Sat. we went to the beach with Tasha's cousin Alyson and Dylan got to dip his feet in the ocean. He stayed nice and protected out of the sun under an awning we rented. I however, got a sunburn on my arms because I apparently put sunscreen on my shoulders twice and never went all the way down my arm. Oops! Sunday we went to go see Great Grandma (Tasha's father's mother) and Tasha's Auntie Trisha, cousin Jenn, and her husband Nevin. It was great just hanging out with family. We also went and got some Bob Evan's takeout, yum! We don't have Bob Evan's up here, and we had been once before and they had delicious salads and banana and blueberry bread, so we were excited to have it again. It's the little things in life!
On Monday, we packed up the hotel room and headed out. We ate our Bob Evan's salads by the pool and then headed to see Great Grammy and Grampy again. We had to stop at Mixon's fruit farm one last time though. They have the most delicious orange juice you have ever tasted, and they have this orange swirl ice cream, so we each got a cone. We had dinner there and headed to the airport. Dylan was pretty good on the flight again. The empty window seat next to us was the last seat open on the plane, no one wanted to sit next to him! But he did good- he was awake during taxiing and take off, and then i think he had a little belly ache, so he maybe let out 3 cries, then he fell asleep for the rest of the flight. Can't complain! Now we need to figure out where his next trip will be!
