Dylan slept from 8:30ish last night until 3:30 am, then went back to sleep at 4:30 and woke up at 6:30. I pick him up and he fell back asleep on me until 7:30. That's where the fun began! I went to go change his diaper, which he loves, and is usually very happy and smiley. So I take off the old one and already have the new one under him, and he starts to pee. I am quick to this now, so i grab the front of the new one and cover him, so it stays in the diaper, just have to use another new one now. He was supposed to get a bath last night but fell asleep, so I decide I will just have Josh shower with him now, while he has no clothes on. So I wrap a towel around him, and carry him into the bathroom, and he pees again- through the towel and all over me. Lovely! He loves the shower and is quite happy, so we get him out, get him dressed, and bring him downstairs. I am about halfway through feeding him his bottle, and Josh comes down and takes over. He changes positions to burp him and discovers the back of his outfit is wet. He has pooped through the diaper and its all up his back. So that is the start to our day, all before 8:30 am!
We leave for FL tomorrow! We have so much to do, I am doing loads of laundry today, then I will gather it all together tonight and start to pack probably. Not sure if we will take 2 suitcases or 1 big one, Dylan requires the most stuff since he needs multiple outfits a day. Our flight isn't until 4:30 out of Providence, so Josh is working a 1/2 day tomorrow from home and I will have time to officially pack and make sure we have everything. The flight is already sold out, which means Dylan will be on our laps again, but he did great on the planes to CA and back, so we are hoping for a repeat. Someone is not going to be pleased to sit in our row! There is also the chance to be bumped, so depending on what they are offering, there are 2 more flights after ours, so we may take advantage of it, who knows! The weather says it will be 80 down there, so we are hoping to make it to a beach at least once. We are mostly going to visit family, so getting to enjoy some sun will be nice too.
